- Brainstorming:

Today, our group which contain 10 members as a team and we prepare a large sheets that can easily to see and written down. My group's leader as a facilitator and me as a note taker who record the brainstorming agenda.

(I) Brief problem's background
- The facilitator brief about the problem which is the lecturer needs us to be more creative while doing this assignment.

(II) Review the 3 brainstorming rules that include:
- as many solution as possible
- wild idea
- no criticism

(III) Do a creative warm-up exercise
- Facilitator wants to attract the others group member to listen to her and giving more idea by doing some warm-up exercise such as "Stand and Sit" or say some jog.

(IV) Conduct the brainstorming
- All the members give many idea such as use some anime to express the idea or technology idea and so forth. Thus, i've to record all the idea that given by my group members.

(V) Collection all ideas and end the sessions
- After collect all the ideas and discuss which idea can be more creative and efficientcy attract the lecturer. Then, the facilitator briefly end the sessions.

(VI) Thanks and dismiss the team
- After i collect all the ideas and facilitator end the sessions. The facilitator thanks all of us that provide as many ideas as possible and dismiss the group.

While doing this assignment i memorized that i've learn brainstorming before in Critical Thinking and i just follow the steps that need to do when collect all the ideas from the team.

- Problem-Solving Model:

(i) Define the problem
- The problem that i face is traffic jam on every Thursday because i hate traffic jam but there

is actually happen and this make me very headache.

(ii) Analysis the problem
- Izit the problem easy to solve by myself? Traffic jam is usually happened or not? Izit a
problem???
- Analysis the problem by using "Kepner-Tregoe" and problem analysis question.

(iii) Identify list of possible solution

  1. Go back home after traffic jam time.

  2. Pay more TOL fees to escape traffic jam. Ex: KL-Putrajaya Highway

  3. Go my cousin's house first.

(iv) Decide on the appropriate alternative

- Alternative 1: Adv - Save time by avoid from traffic jam

Save money from using KL-Putrajaya Highway

Disadv - Can't meet my family as fast as possible

- Don't know what to do at school

- Boring

- Alternative 2: Adv - Can go back home more faster

- Avoid from traffic jam

- More enjoy time at home

- Go out drink tea with my friends

- More time to do my assignment

Disadv - waste money

- Alternative 3: Adv - Can use my cousin's computer to do assignment
- Avoid from traffic jam

- Save money

Disadv - Can see many " black face" that i hate when at my cousin's house

- Can't gather with my family as soon as possible

- Can hear many bad things that predict my mom

As a result, i solve this problem by using alternative 2 which is using KL-P Highway because time is precious and no other things can substitute it.

- The Water And Diamond Paradox:

Today, i do Microeconomic's revision and in Chapter 19 i was study about the diamond-water paradox. At the mean time, i remembered that i've already learn from Critical Thinking. Which mean that some "essential" goods had much lower prices than some "unimportant" goods. Why would water, essential to life, be priced below diamonds, which have much less usefulness? This paradox is resolved when we acknowledge that water is in great supply relative to demand and thus has a very low price per gallon. Diamonds, in contrast, are rare and are costly to mine, cut, and polish. Because their supply is small relative to demand, their price is very high per carat. Water that are useful to people are more valuable and expect willing to pay more money for them but in reality water is less price. Thus, water has much more total utility (roughly, usefulness) than diamonds even though the price of diamonds greatly exceeds the price of water.

StOrY aBoUt My BeSt FrIenD

-Assumption:

This morning i received a call from my best friend named Hui Boon. When i answer her call, i heard that she is crying I'm so scared because i don't know what happen to her. After she calm down, she told me everything about her boy friend. She said, that suspect her boy friend (my friend too) outside got another girl friend she continuously crying but as my stand i can't say anything because both of them are my friends so i just listen to her. But in my mind i assume that this guy is very bad attitude and worse because he doesn't threat my best friend as well as i think.
I was so angry, then i called his boy friend and asked him what was happening actually. And he told me he doesn't do that but i asked him again why his girl friend will suspect him, is that any problem with you!! ..... After few hour, i received my best friend call again, she was so happy while talk to me because her boy friend already explain everything to her and this is only a misunderstanding.
My assumption is a set of belief which consider self-evident not further support analysis, people should be very carefull when making assumption because it's easy to make wrong assumption without evidence and so forth.

-Simile:

Yesterday night (12a.m, 31st August 2008) the moon is very beautiful and peaceful like our country because there is no war or happen any unexpected disasters. At this moment, there is some energy to push me to online and msn with my friends. During my msn time, my friend sended me a msg about the simile example (A Birthday)-
My heart is like a singing bird. Whose nest is in a watered shoot;
My heart is like an apple tree. Whose boughs are bent with thickest fruit;
My heart is like a rainbow shell. That paddles in a halcyon sea;
My heart is gladder than all these.
Because my love is come to me. Raise me a dais of silk and down;
Hang it with vair and purple dyes;
Carve it in doves and pomegranates. And peacocks with a hundred eyes;
Work it in gold and silver grapes, In leaves and silver fleur-de-lys;
Because the birthday of my life. Is come, my love is come to me.

My PaReNtS pErSuAdE mE tO StuDy HaRd...

AD POPULUM FALLACY
-Ad Populum Appeal To Indirectly Consequence:

I still remembered my parents always told me the story about the consequence of the people who do not study hard during their study time. They said, if you not study hard and always go out with your friends, you'll less concerntration when lecturers are teaching and finally you'll get bad result or fail in your exam. Then, this will affect me that i can't graduate in my final sem and continue consequence make me can't get better job, lower level of position or high-paid salary in my future. After listen to my parents i intended to worry about the future and caused by this event.

AD POPULUM FALLACY BELONGING TO A PEER GROUP
-Ad Populum Appeal To Common Practice:

My parents always use my cousin as an example that he is very hardworking during his study time-everyday do revision, study and study. So, finally he get distinction in his exam and first honour degree when his graduation. Another things that when he found a job is more easy than other who get lower CGPA marks and he had more opportunity to continue improvement. Until now, he already a manager in a international bank and still got chance to get higher position and salary in that bank. That's why my parents want me to do what others are doing and persuade me act to study hard like my cousin.

ACCESSIBILITY OF KNOWLEDGE

-Explicit Knowledge:

28th January 2008 was my first day to Multimedia University and i did not know the way to MMU which located at Cyberjaya. So the best way to go to Cyberjaya and started my first day study at MMU was follow the sign board which got stated Cyberjaya word. Haha.... That 1 thing very stupid is that i'm used the long way to go to MMU because i don't know got the short cut to there and paid many "TOL"( If not mistaken total tol fees for only 1 way were around RM 5, so costly for me to drive there) . And i've to pay more attention and drive slowly to memorize the road, recognize building. I still remembered that i'm late to enter the class because i don't know where is FCM, FOM, FOE building so i've to ask the MMU's security and she told me that where is the class room located. I continuously find the class, finally i found the class but i already late. Haiz....

-Implicit Knowledge:

After 1 week i already recognized the way to MMU. My friend who study at Lim Kok Wing University told me that another 1 way i can save my time and money to Cyberjaya where through Seri Kembangan Highway and just pay for 1 tol (RM1.30). Actually i know the way already before my friend told me but i still listen to her. Haha.... So until now i can go MMU by using implicit knowledge which usually stored within our mind. Besides that, i also accessible through querying and discussion with my friend. In additional, i know where is FOM, FCM, FOE building located and no need asked the security already. So happy... ^_^ I know where is the class and i'll not be late to enter the class again but the important things are i can save my time and money by using that highway.

-Tacit knowledge:

Yesterday, i saw my first sem lecturer who teach me English subject and she was a very nice lecturer. I can recognized her at the back cause she always tied her hair up and the way she walk is so different from others. But i can't and difficult to explain how unique of this lecturer is, this knowledge already stored within my mind indirectly.

PeRmiSsIoN...

Mdm. Jessica,
I only start to blog today cause i only attended the replacement on 28th August, i didn't attend the replacement on 27th August was so busy with my studies, having exam on 28th August! Yesterday i just discovered that the lecturer wanted us start to blog on 28th August so i missed to blog on 28th August. I already explained to my lecturer and she asked me to post my reason on the blog. Hope Mdm. Jessica can accept this valid reason.
